The Michael Kent trained Princeton Spirit helped Stephanie Thornton notch up a wonderful milestone when the debutante was able to salute at Geelong on Friday 25th August.

After drawing the outside gate Steph kept the first starter nice and balanced before driving Princeton Spirit to the line to help out ride her 2kg allowance.

Steph added "it was my first winner for Michael Kent since going on loan and I can't thank him enough for his help and support"

Not only did Princeton Spirit have to earn the win on the track but a nervous time in the stewards room when the rider of the 2nd horse threw in an objection which was dismissed.

Steph is enjoying her time based at Cranbourne and is thrilled with the support she is getting from a number of trainers all around the state.
